Before the day

The first step.

To be completely transparent, I fell in love with adventure before I fell in love with photographing lovers adventuring.

To answer your question, yes, I do. The guiding principle I follow for all my projects is simple: If an experience holds significant meaning for you, I’m all in.

• Adventure sessions, self-love shoots, and family portraits start at AU$1,500.

• Events (excluding weddings + elopements) start at AU$1,500.

• Small weddings + elopements (less than 20 guests) start at AU$3,300.

• Adventure weddings + elopements (over 20 guests) start at AU$5,500.

Get in touch and I’ll provide my Pricing Guide – filled with all the nitty-gritty details of my photography packages, inclusions, and optional additions.

We’ll kick things off with a casual chat in person or via video chat. It’s the best way for us to connect, do a mutual vibe check, and explore all the ideas swimming around your brain box.

By the end of our brainstorming sesh, we’ll both know what’s really important to you and how to make it happen.

Whether big or small, planning a wedding is a task and a half. Luckily for you, it’s literally my day job!

You can use me as a sounding board for your crazy ideas, or you can go a step further and hire me to craft the whole adventure with/for you.

Either way, you’ll be pulling from more than a decade of experience in the wedding/elopement industry, and my no-BS approach to helping rad humans plan their most meaningful experiences – regardless of the vibe, size, or location.

Limber up because this could be the ride of your life! Whether you’re getting married surrounded by your community or solo on a summit, starting a family or a start-up, creating a campaign or the next chapter of your life, knowing where to start is hard when you don’t know where you’re going.

Let’s clarify what you want from the experience so we can map out a guide to get you there.

Good question. I get it; this is your story, your legacy – you wanna make sure you work with someone who gets you.

Now, call me old-fashioned, but I believe the best way to see if we align is to sit down, eyeball each other, shoot the shit, and see if we’re a good fit. If geography gets in the way of meeting in person – or if you can’t find your pants – Zoom works for me, too.

Like you, I’m not here to put boots on caterpillars, and I prioritize my little time in human form to spend it with dead-set legends only. Trust me; we’ll know if it feels right within the first few minutes.

All dates are secured upon payment of your non-refundable 25% holding deposit and cannot be changed.

Any requests to change the date after the initial deposit has been made will result in the booking being cancelled, and the holding deposit retained to cover the cost of forfeited work. A new booking will have to be made, and another 25% deposit will be required to secure the new date.

In extreme circumstances of change/cancellation – like when O’l Rona threw a sloppy curveball, shut the world down, and turned lovefests into criminal acts – your initial deposit may go towards a new date, provided I’m available.

Travel

Let’s get outta’ here.

I currently live in Bright, Victoria – in my humble opinion, it’s one of the best-kept secrets in Australia. Located 3.5 hours from Melbourne, deep in the Victorian Alps, and surrounded by some of the world’s most epic and unique high country, it’s a total dream for someone born to adventure!

Although much of my work is done in Melbourne’s many wedding regions, almost 50% of my bookings are either interstate or international. Having worked extensively throughout North America, Australia, Asia, and a handful of European cities, I still have a long bucket list of dream locations. And because my hometown has a reputation and proximity to so much of what makes life worth living, I’ve had couples travel from all over the world to adventure here with me. (It really is that epic!)

I’m not kidding when I say my travel bag is permanently packed – one of the things I love most about elopements is the limitless possibilities!

However, ditching tradition and opening the floodgates to freedom can be a little overwhelming. That’s why I’ve passionately developed a no-BS, ground-up approach to helping brave couples create a truly unique and meaningful experience on their own terms, regardless of location.

Whether you’re dreaming of Heli-hiking, road tripping, camping, or treating yourselves to a 5-star holiday/elopement adventure, I’ll be your guide from concept to creation.

My travel fees are included in all my packages, and my travel arrangements are managed by my team, so you don’t have to lift a finger or worry about any unexpected costs.

All international wedding packages include my travel and accommodation. If my schedule allows – and if you’re keen – you can even extend the number of days to capture the whole adventure from start to finish.

I’ve been fortunate to third-wheel on so many epic trips; from Jana + Mitch’s 4 days of adventures, road tripping through the Rockies to surprise a blindfolded bride with a heli-wedding, to this one time I spent 8 days sailing the Adriatic Sea in Croatia with high school sweethearts and a handful of their favourite humans – so, you tell me where we’re headed and I’m in! [Link Jana + Mitch’s to portfolio/case study of their photos]

Absolutely! I’ve worked with dozens of couples who celebrated their wedding in multiple locations in equally unique and meaningful ways. From starting your wedding journey with an intimate, adventurous, private elopement for just the two of you (been there) to following up with more celebrations in different locations surrounded by the communities that raised you (done that too!), I’ll help you navigate all the logistics and keep the process fun for you.

ON THE DAY

It’s Go Time...

Throughout the planning stages of your wedding, I’ll be closely working with you to create the perfect run sheet for the day. We’ll consider the location, time of year, lighting, weather, number of guests, daylight savings, and all the other factors to build a timeline that supports the kind of experience YOU want (and deserve).

I have a theory: there’s no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing! So, unless you have a wet weather backup, I will encourage you to embrace whatever weather comes our way as it’s beautiful, unique in photos, and out of our control.

You bet I will – it’s my day job! But honestly? It’s highly likely you won’t need any direction when the vibes are right.

Being genuinely comfortable and staying true to yourself on camera requires a certain level of vulnerability and trust. Every couple has their own way, a natural state of being. The environment I create is always free of judgment, expectations, and awkward poses, so you can relax, be your weird selves, and just enjoy the experience.

AFTER YOUR DAY

Wrapping things up...

How soon can we expect to receive our photos? So, you’ve just woken up a little hung from one of the most epic days of your life, and you’re wondering if it was all a dream, huh? Don’t sweat it; you’ll have a cheeky sneak peek coming in hot within a week, with your full story landing within 6-8 weeks.

You’ll have an access pass to your own whizz-bang, fancy-schmancy (password-protected) online gallery where you can easily view, share, and download your files. It’s pretty dope, actually.

I’ve built relationships with some of Australia’s best labs and fine-art bookmakers to develop a seamless process for ordering world-class, museum-grade heirloom keepsakes. Using your private gallery’s built-in print shop, ordering fine-art prints, ready-to-hang framed pieces, legacy albums, or a set of ‘zines from the day is just a few clicks away.

Timeless. Trends come and go, my friend, so apart from true colour and black & white, I tend to avoid popular colour correction fads so that your images remain a true reflection of your experience.

If by ‘nasty bits’ you mean that mini-somma volcano of a pimple that erupted on your face days before your wedding, then yes – I’ll Photoshop that sucker out. But, if you mean canceling that semi-established mustache that Aunty Karen’s been sporting since she was a teen, then sadly, no. I don’t use Photoshop to change who people are. Trust me; with the right light – at the right moment – you’ll look freaking spectacular.
